It would take 50 pages for me to explain how my game has changed since going to WPT Boot camp. What I thought was good play turned out to be just the opposite. I had acquired so many bad habits over the years, the poker pro's had no problem showing the mistakes I was making. The training is up close and personal, the classes were small and the workshop sessions were very specific. After the classes were finished, I walked out to the casino poker room and won the entire amount I had invested in the Boot camp. Yes I said invested, that is how I view the cost of the Boot Camp. I invested in my game.
About a month after going to the WPT Boot Camp, my wife and were in Vegas again. As I signed up and waited for an open seat at a no limit table, I had a totally new and exciting feeling, I was confident, smarter and most of all, I was not intimidated by the other players. I had won that night, not a million dollars but enough to cover the cost of the trip to Vegas and to sign up for the Champion level of my next WPT Boot Camp training experience.
One more thing, I have just turned 50 and have retired. Take a close look at my photo, the next time you see me might be at a final table...raking your chips over to my stack.
