It is a real honor to be the first Boot camp alumni to win a major title. I hope that I will be the first alumni to win multiple titles and to make it deep in many future tournaments!
Poker is such a great game. No one can ever argue that there are a lot of variables involved in order to be successful. Table prescience, reading people, understanding position, playing your cards, playing people, playing other players objectives, playing position, playing chip stacks and playing for the bubble are only a handful of obstacles in the road that leads you to your destination…… “The final table”.
You can not maneuver your vehicle through these sometimes difficult obstacles without the knowledge and experience of how to. The boot camp provides you with an abundance of knowledge and although the WPT Boot camp cannot provide you with the actual playing experience, it does the next best thing. The boot camp allows you to draw from the priceless experiences shared only by the elite and most respected names in the poker world.
I am thankful that your Boot camp was part of my poker experience arsenal. I took a lot of valuable information from the Boot camp that has helped my game. It was nice to see how your Boot camps really foster a meaningful learning experience through a comfortable, relaxing and social environment. Teaching seminars in other areas myself, I realize and truly value how much is learned not only by the students but by the instructors as well. I believe that the comfortable and personal interaction between the pros and the students is the primary reason that your programs success is equally matched and measured from the success of your students.
I give your Boot camp and your instructors the highest marks and respect. My girlfriend LOVES the game of poker. Although she may argue at times that she is better than I am (lots of laughs), I hope to bring her to several future Boot camps to improve her game. I would honestly recommend your boot camps to all of my friends that are interested in better understanding and improving their game!
