Three weeks after taking the class I entered a mid-level tournament with a buy-in for $335. I made it to the second day with a little above the average stack. I isolated the shorter stacks and attacked, which was difficult to do since there were several stacks double and triple my size.
Fortunately, my image of being a solid tight player paid off because I won several pots without a show down. Being selectively aggressive was a key factor. I managed to get to the final table with a healthy stack and ended up chopping 1st and 2nd to bring home over$26K.
I would like to thank all of the instructors in the WPT Boot Camp for what you have all taught me to help me reach my goal.. The WPT Boot Camp is definitely the fast track to the final table. Again, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
