Just wanted to let you know the boot camps are definitely starting to pay off for me. I played a $150 satellite last Thursday and won a seat into the Executive Poker Tour's main event Friday, $2500. I was the only woman to enter and am proud to tell you I placed 3rd - $18,160.
I competed with many of the pros, including another boot camp graduate, Lee Childs, who won the event. I wanted so much for Lee and I to compete against one another, as what a story that would be, "two boot camp graduates heads-up in a major tournament." In addition, I placed 11th at Borgata's ladies event last month.
