Karina first arrived on the Vegas poker scene at the age of 10. Her parents were both avid players and throughout her youth she could be found at whichever casino had the best card room at the time. At age 18 she no longer was asked for ID in the card rooms so she would sit behind her mother and watch her play. Soon she wandered into a $1-5 game while she waited for mom, and immediately found she had natural ability for the game. Since then she has steadily moved up in limits, consistently crushing the cash games, and has even worked as a proposition player in California for a while.

In 2001 she met and married tournament player, Chip Jett, and so her journey though the poker world has been focusing on tournaments lately, with side games being a way to supplement the unpredictable swings of tournament play. Her short, yet impressive tournament career includes wins in Arizona and Las Vegas, and final table appearances in major tournaments all over the world including :
